This ensures that cancer patients and their families have the local services they need. Services available through O’Connor include:

Hospice services are available through a referral by a hospital social worker to one of several local hospice agencies and may include:

  • Medicare certification
  • Prehospice
  • Pain and symptom management
  • Home Alone Program
  • AIDS program
  • Respite care

  • Individual grief counseling
  • Bereavement groups
  • Comfort/palliative care
