Patient Care Ombudsman Report Submitted to the Court
Jacob Nathan Rubin, MD, FAAC, the Patient Care Ombudsman appointed by the Bankruptcy Court has submitted the first report regarding the quality of patient care provided to patients throughout the Verity Health System.
O’Connor Hospital Hosts NICU Reunion
On Saturday, October 27, O’Connor held a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) reunion for the patients and families who graduated from the O’Connor Hospital NICU. Eileen Cole and NICU nurses, organized a fun Halloween themed event for over 100 families to visit with nurses and physicians who had helped them during their stay at O’Connor.
O’Connor Hospital Provides Mammograms for Community
Screenings took a matter of minutes to complete and were completely private and confidential. Participants were able to walk up to the large bus and register onsite. O’Connor was able to provide free mammograms to many women in the community, who may not have had the means to do so otherwise.
